Poser is the directorial duo of longtime friends Emmanuel Terrell and Jake Vriezelaar, who met at university in rural Middle America. Their partnership, born from shared experiences, creative curiosity, and a bit of beautiful chaos....results in work that’s as emotionally grounded as it is visually distinct.

Their lens finds beauty in the everyday, but also bridges the unlikely, bringing together cultural icons in ways that feel fresh, authentic, and deeply resonant. From merging Puma with NYC’s legendary Russ & Daughters to crafting nuanced campaigns for Nike, New Balance , and Reebok, they lean into contrasts that tell bigger stories. Stories of community, legacy, and relevance.

Their self-produced debut short film, The Lives We Make, premiered at New York’s iconic Angelika Theater, marking another step in their mission: to create work that invites viewers to laugh, reflect, and most importantly, feel seen.
